LCR Prohibited Items Notice

To ensure a safe and secure journey for all passengers, please adhere to the following guidelines regarding items prohibited from entry into the station and onboard the train. These rules are in accordance with the Railway Law, the guidance of the Railway Police, and The Ministry of Public Security. Passengers traveling from Vientiane Station to provincial stations, or vice versa, are requested to follow these regulations:

  1. Weapons and Ammunition: All firearms, ammunition, and similar items, including pistols, rifles, and modified guns, are strictly prohibited. Exceptions apply to authorized government officials on duty.

  2. Explosives: Any type of explosive material, such as firecrackers, gunpowder, or similar substances, is strictly forbidden.

  3. Chemicals and Flammable Liquids: Hazardous chemicals and flammable liquids, including hydrogen, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, and other combustible materials, are not allowed. Oxygen for medical purposes is also prohibited.

  4. Narcotics and Drugs: No narcotics or controlled substances, such as heroin, marijuana, amphetamines, and other drugs, are permitted.

  5. Sharp Objects: Sharp objects capable of causing injury, including knives, scissors, cutters, and similar items, are not allowed onboard.

  6. Animals: All pets and wildlife, whether living or non-living, are prohibited, including dogs, cats, and other animals.

  7. Odorous or Watery Food: Food with strong odors, liquids that may spill, and any items that could impact the comfort and environment of fellow passengers are strictly prohibited.

Handy service with a transfer included

This was a handy service with great communication with the provider. The only disappointment was that we were not seated together despite being assured we were.
